Rest & Restore: An Evening Ritual

Evenings are an invitation to unwind — a time to shed the weight of the day and recalibrate. This ritual is designed to support your transition into rest and relaxation, combining mindful touch, reflection, and the grounding essence of Frankincense.

For centuries, from ancient temples to modern homes, Frankincense has been used to purify spaces and clear stagnant energies. Our Elixir continues this tradition, nourishing the skin while helping to cleanse your field of what you no longer wish to carry, preparing you for deep, restorative rest.

1: Create Your Atmosphere

Begin by softening the energy of your space. Dim the lights, light a candle, make a tea or play gentle music. You may also choose silence or our curated tracks on Spotify and YouTube.

2: Cleanse & Prepare

Whether you wash away the day with a gentle cleanser or a shower - as you rinse, your face/body, imagine the water is washing away any tension or thoughts youre ready to release.

3: Apply the Frankincense Elixir

Warm a few drops of the Elixir between your palms. Hold your hands before your face, inhale deeply, and allow the grounding aroma of Frankincense to cleanse your field of anything you do not wish to carry into the night. As you press the oil into your skin, feel each touch soften the edges of your day and invite in peace.

4: Glowstone & Reflection

If time allows, continue with the Glowstone Gua Sha. Move with intention, releasing stored tension and inviting circulation to restore your skin overnight. Let this be a practice of gentle unwinding.
You may also wish to journal here — a few lines to empty the mind or set down gratitude. Writing can be a powerful way to release thoughts and create space for restful sleep.

5: Seal the Ritual

Close with a deep breath. Let the stillness you’ve created hold you as you prepare to rest. You are nourished, lightened, and ready to surrender the day.

How This Ritual Can Transform Your Evenings

Ending your day with intention helps regulate the nervous system and signal to the body that it is safe to rest. Touch and massage with the Gua Sha support circulation and relaxation, while affirmations or journaling can reduce mental clutter and improve sleep quality. Combined with the soothing aroma of Frankincense, this ritual becomes more than skincare — it becomes a nightly practice of release, restoration, and self-connection.
